St. Saviour's Church, Guildford
My name is Sam. This year I am serving in my home Church, St Saviours Guildford I have been at St Saviours for 8 years already and its great to have more time to be able to serve and invest in them this year.
I am working part time (3 days a week) in my current job and am placed in the Church for the equivalent of 1 day a week. I feel that God has called me to the work place and DNA is equipping me to be more effective there. At Church, I am involved in working with the The Hub – the 11-14’s youth group which involves supporting the youth workers and co-leading the year 8 girls cell group. I am also involved in working with the young adults, leading a cell group and networking, making sure that the young adults are feeling connected to the community.
I am already being challenged and stretched and am really looking forward to seeing what else God has in store for me over the next year. I meet weekly with my discipler which is invaluable in helping me grow. Already during this first term, God is revealing more of Himself and his plan for me.
