“A fantastic opportunity for people to connect with God, themselves and people who aren’t yet Christians. It’s been great working with DNA over the years with The Message in Manchester. This programme produces quality people.”

YMCA / DNA Partnership

DNA are thrilled to announce exciting opportunities with our partners YMCA London South West.

Based at four main centres and operating from fourteen separate locations, YMCA London South West provide a range of services including supported housing, children's work, sports, health, exercise and fitness, youthwork, residential care homes, catering services and conference facilities, short stay hostel accommodation and community programmes.

YMCA London South West want to invest into people who have the capacity to play key roles in the organisation in future years. Trainees would be based in a local church (maybe even your own?) that is in the same geography as one of the YMCA Centres, with placement opportunities being both church and YMCA based.

Andy Redfearn, Director of Development for YMCA London South West is thrilled by the prospect of this partnership. “We are delighted to be able to partner with DNA in the leadership development of people who may play a key role in the future of the YMCA. This really is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to engage meaningfully in society whilst having their character shaped.”

The YMCA and DNA are looking for four people to be on YMCA DNA in October 2012. Could this be for you? You would access all DNA training, be based in a local church within the London SW area where part of your programme will be based, but also be working in a vartiety of capacities within YMCA London SW.

This unique partnership is available through DNA at Track 1 and Track 2.

For more information on the opportunities contact Tim Raynes at DNA or Jacky Bone, Chaplain of the London South West.
