“A fantastic opportunity for people to connect with God, themselves and people who aren’t yet Christians. It’s been great working with DNA over the years with The Message in Manchester. This programme produces quality people.”

Partnering with DNA

DNA exists to serve local churches by the strategic discipleship and development of key individuals within those churches.

We want to work relationally and in partnership so that there is an understanding of heart and ethos. Obviously being a placement church isn't an administrative exercise. If you want to pursue this as an option, we would therefore welcome meeting with you and other church leaders to share heart, vision and discuss in detail how we may serve you.

It would be fair to point out that every year we receive more requests for trainees than we have trainees. This is a helpful tension for us as we always want to resource churches but it means we can carefully select placements for the trainees we have. The best way, therefore, to partner most effectively and receive a DNA team is to recruit locally within your church, to see if there is anyone who could benefit from such a year and look for them to be placed back with yourself. This would encourage us to look at the possibility of placing another trainee with them so they weren't isolated. Having said that this is not mandatory. We would still want to talk to ensure the church locally could provide all we and you would want in terms of active programme and discipleship etc.

If you would like to explore this further, please make contact with us.

If helpful, we'd be delighted to put you in contact with one of our placement churches so that you can ask them, from their perspective how it works.
