Placement churches

I am based this year at City Life Church in Cambridge.  I have been attending the church for four years while I was at University and am really enjoying being able to spend this year serving in the church.

 

I will be doing lots of student work this year, I am on the church's Student Team, who look after the Student Tribe, an expression of church adapted to the student lifestyle.  I also work with Fusion Cambridge, which runs a network of cells based in the University colleges and welcome students from all churches.  I am the Cell coordinator and my role includes looking after the cell leaders, running monthly leaders meetings and organising training for new leaders.

 

The church is also involved in serving a community in the north of Cambridge called King's Hegdes.  I am involved in the Monday night detached youth work on the estates and will also be helping organise and being a part of the Noise projects and community days held in the area.

 

Finally, I am helping out occasionally with the kid's church on Sunday mornings, specifically the 4-11's group, and I'm doing some admin work in the office.

 

It's a great church to be part of, I'm enjoying working here and I'm looking forward to what the rest of the year has in store for me!
