"DNA is an extremely well orgamised outfit - efficient, reliable, disciplined, focussed and refreshingly uncompromising in discipling, connecting trainees with contemporary culture, enabling them to grow in character, experience Christian ministry and to understand /think theologically and biblically. This course is of high standard, carefully structured with the support given to the placement discipler and co-ordinator of an equally high standard. As a church, it also introduced us to a model for supporting trainees in ministry for the future."

How do I apply?
You can apply without commiting yourself to anything - in fact we'd be happy for you to consider this as part of your exploration of whether DNA is right for you. Once we receive your application we shall email you asking you to submit details of your spiritual history to date.
For all Tracks, references will be taken up from your home church leader and a mature Christian friend, and you will be invited to an interview (except for Track 3).
Successful candidates will be required to request a criminal records check through us from the CRB or Disclosure Scotland as being on DNA could involve contact with children or vulnerable adults. A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to acceptance, unless the nature of any matters revealed could place children or vulnerable adults at risk. The process is subject to a strict code to ensure confidentiality, fair practice and security of any information disclosed. We can supply you with a copy of our Code of Best Practice and our own procedures upon request.
Upon being offered a place on DNA, we will ask you to confirm your acceptance of our offer by paying a non-refundable deposit of £100, securing your place. This deposit will be deducted from your Term 1 fees.
