Patti Lunniss - what did DNA mean to you?

I did DNA in 1995/1996 when I was 57! I had been a Christian about 15 years but a difficult life had left me with loads of baggage I needed to deal with.
On DNA we had great teaching and wonderful support in difficult times. I was stretched and encouraged to step out, lovingly challenged to let go of unhelpful attitudes and taught to work in a team – not easy for a solo performer!
We had great fun at home and abroad and I was imbued with life skills I have since found invaluable, I ended the year knowing who I am in God and what He wants (and doesn’t want) from me. I now work for a homeless charity with drug addicts and alcoholics as well as the homeless. I know that DNA equipped me when I was totally unprepared for all this requires.
