DNA involves...

You
... and your care and development is our primary concern - we won't leave you exposed. Most of our applicants come from all over the UK. We have also had international trainees from Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Gambia, Germany, Holland, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, USA and Venezuela

Your placement church for the year
... will give a wide variety of practical experience. It could be your own church if appropriate. We listen to your dreams and desires for service and place you accordingly but only in happening churches. Our key phrase is stretching but safe.

Your discipler
... will give same gender character development through weekly mentoring. Our priority is your growth.

Your co-ordinator
... will provide a varied action programme to develop your skills and gifting, for example: community involvement, network evangelism, youth and childen's work, social action, one-to-one evangelism, planning and administration, Alpha courses, etc.

Your hosts
... are usually a family in your placement church that they find for you. Alternatively if your DNA year is in your home church you can provide your own accommodation.

The DNA Team
... co-ordinate and oversee all aspects of the programme and are actively involved in your personal development. The DNA Team will be at all your training days, and during each term a member of the team will visit you at your placement church. Your DNA year is our journey together.
